At-Home GLP-1 Injections

With medication ready, you’ll start at-home injections on the schedule your provider outlined. This aspect of the program is designed for maximum ease and convenience:

  • Home Delivery of Supplies: All necessary supplies (medication vials or pens, needles, sharps container, etc.) are provided. You won’t need to make clinic visits for injections; instead, you self-administer once a week in the privacy of your own home.
  • Simple Weekly Routine: The injections are done just once per week, on a day you choose. It only takes a few moments. Many clients incorporate it into a relaxing part of their routine – for example, a Sunday evening self-care ritual.
  • Ongoing Dose Personalization: As you progress, your provider monitors how you’re responding. Every few weeks, based on your feedback and results, your dosage may be adjusted. This ensures you’re always on the most effective dose for steady, sustainable weight loss without unnecessary discomfort. We aim for a gentle but effective ramp-up.
  • How It Works: GLP-1 medications like semaglutide are a breakthrough in weight management. They work by curbing appetite and helping you feel full sooner and longer. You’ll likely notice reduced cravings and better control over portions. These injections also support healthier blood sugar levels, which can reduce hunger spikes. The result is that losing weight becomes easier – you’re not constantly battling hunger, so you can focus on nourishing yourself and living your life.

Throughout this stage, our medical team stays closely involved. You’ll have scheduled check-ins (more on that below) to report how you’re feeling. If at any point you experience an issue with the injections or medication, we’re just a phone call or message away. The goal is that you feel comfortable and confident administering your treatment and excited by the positive changes you’ll start to see.

Many patients begin to notice early changes within the first few weeks: feeling more satisfied with smaller meals, slight weight reductions, and even NSVs (non-scale victories) like improved energy or better fitting clothes. This early progress can be incredibly motivating. And with each passing week, the medication’s effects will increase (as doses adjust), helping to accelerate your results in a controlled, healthy manner.
